How Duit earns money

Duit is free to use. At the moment it earns nothing. In future it may earn money from:

  • Referral links: if you follow certain links and sign up for a service, Duit may receive a fee. It doesn't change what you pay.
  • Advertising.

Duit never takes a fee per sign-up for brokers, investment products, insurance or mortgages.

Independence

Referral relationships never decide what Duit covers or how its tools rank things. The comparison tools rank by stated, objective criteria, such as total cost or the amount you end up with. Products that pay Duit nothing are listed alongside any that do, and a better option is never left out because it doesn't pay.

How referral links are marked

Every referral link carries this line next to it: “Referral: Duit may earn a fee if you sign up. It doesn't change what you pay.” Paid relationships are disclosed in line with the Dutch Advertising Code and the guidance of the Dutch consumer authority (ACM), and referral links are tagged rel="sponsored".

Not a recommendation

A product appearing on Duit, with or without a referral link, doesn't mean it's right for you. See the disclaimer.
